Australia is one of the most attractive destination for international students. Applying for student visa in Australia requires several documents which should be prepared in time to make sure that you don’t miss the intakes. (It is for +2 passed students, for bachelor passed students things may vary.)

                               The lists of required documents are:

1 .       I.E.L.T.S  Course:

Although it isn’t a document, you need to take I.E.L.T.S  exam for which you need to take I.E.L.T.S  course which is provided by almost all the consultancy which does processing for Australia.

2.       Passport.

After you are confident that you can do well in exam you need to reserve place to take exam. In order to appear in I.E.L.T.S exam you compulsorily need passport. It normally takes 15 days to get passport after applying it. 

3.       I.E.L.T.S Certificate.

It is obvious that you need I.E.L.T.S certificate which you get after about 13 days after you take exam.

4.       Offer letter.

Offer letter of applied university/college is required for bank processing.

5.       Relationship certificate.

First of all, you need relationship certificate (nata pramanit) which is made by V.D.C or municipality. To make it from municipality you need sifaris from your ward or woda as it is called. Submit your application in ward requesting the sifaris for relationship certificate and then it will issue the shifaris which is to be taken to municipality for making relationship certificate. Make sure you have 4 to 6 photos of the persons (including yours) whom you want to show your relationship with

 

                              WHY DO I NEED TO MAKE RELATIONSHIP CERTIFICATE?

You need relationship certificate for several purposes. It is required in bank for banking process. It is also need when you apply for visa.

                                                                      It is wise to include all of the family members  in relationship certificate as you don’t have to make it time and again in case your income source is inadequate or you need to change applicant or co-applicant. ALWAYS MAKE THE DOCUMENTS IN ENGLISH IF POSSIBLE AS YOU DON’T HAVE TO TRANSLATE IT LATTER.

6.       Income Source.

Income source is one of the most important document as Australian High Commission grant visa only for those students who are financially and academically strong ( also who intend to return to their country after completion of their education). It is also required in bank processing to make sure that you have healthy financial condition to pay interest and loan.

:(  I think my parent’s income will be insufficient!!  :( 

You don’t have to worry as you can show income either from father’s side or mother’s side who should have relation of blood. Not any uncle and mama will do.

7.       Income source verification.

Income source should not be verified for bank processing but it should be verified by “V.D.C or Municipality” in order to forward to high commission. Certain percent charge should be paid to verify your income source and it should be genuine.

8.       Translated Document.

You need to translate your Nepali document into English which is done by any authorised officer of Notary Public.

9.       Police Report

You need to make a police report which verifies that you have no criminal history and you are clean to go. You will need passport sized photo, citizenship certificate and passport in order to make police report.

                                             

10.   No Objection Certificate(N.O.C)

No objection certificate can be made in “Keshar Pustakalaya” at (place). Rs 2000 is charged to make N.O.C. You should take transcript of +2 and citizenship certificate. You need not take offer letter there but should know the course and the name of the university or institute in which you are going to study. Distribution of forms is closed at 11 am so get there as early as you can. Going early will be helpful as you don’t have to get stuck in the long, boring line.

     Loan Sanction letter/certificate.

You can get it after the completions of all the bank process as evidence that bank have approved your loan.

 

Note: Since you are applying for bachelor level you should submit the certificate of S.L.C and +2 along with character certificate by default.

                                                                             Always take photocopy along with original of the documents like citizenship certificate, passport etc.

It is a list of document which will be useful while applying for visa and some are useful in bank also but a whole different sets of document is required for bank loan processing which I will describe in next post.
